The market for renewable energies is characterized by the concept of power generation from renewable raw materials in biogas plants. Due to the construction of large central facilities, the disposal of the liquid fermentation residues in the vicinity of the plant is a growing concern. A3 Water Solutions GmbH has developed a modular concept for the treatment of fermentation residues. The effluent is of such high quality that it can be readily disposed or even reused. The concentrates are re-usable or can be marketed as a nutrient-rich fertilizer.
